Join the Board

Have you considered joining the Brookfield Education Foundation Board of Directors? Here are some things to think about…

  • We look for people who share a passion for education and life-long learning. Individuals must work well with others, although different points of view are welcome. We work collaboratively. Each Board member brings a unique skill or represents a distinct part of the Brookfield community.
  • Board meetings are held monthly, the first Tuesday of every month, 12:00 — 1:30 PM. It is important that Board members attend most of these meetings.
  • Each Board member actively participates on a committee, either as a member or as a chairperson. Examples of committees include fund-raising, public relations, grant request evaluation, finance. Each of these committees meets on an as-needed basis.
  • Board members must make a financial donation to the Brookfield Education Foundation. There are no specific dollar requirements.
  • A Board seat is held for two years and is renewable up to three times.
