A Brookfield High School student, through a grant funded by the Brookfield Education Foundation, will create a String Ensemble that will initially exist through the current concert band program as a supporting section but also as an individual chamber ensemble.

The new addition of a String Ensemble will benefit the student’s education and character development.  In addition to performing at Brookfield High School functions, the Ensemble can also compete at the statewide level, representing Brookfield.  The long-term goals would include the spread of string programs into the middle and elementary schools and potentially the future creation of a Brookfield High School Orchestra.
