The Brookfield Education Foundation has awarded a major-grant to Whisconier Middle School for three aeroponic tower gardens. Championed by science teachers, Linda Bertozzi and Dennis Petrino, the goal is for students to be involved in year round growth of fruits and vegetables. Science teachers in 5th, 6th and 8th grades will utilize this innovative growth system for educational lessons and hands on learning by students.
