Making a lasting contribution isn’t just for the wealthy. You can leave a gift of any size in your will, and in doing so, will make a tremendous difference to our community. All it takes is a legal will, and the goodwill to make your important charitable work live on forever.
If you are considering including a charitable bequest in your estate plan, the following language may be helpful to you and your attorney:
“I give, devise and bequeath to FULL LEGAL NAME OF ORGANIZATION, CITY, STATE , ____% of my residuary estate to be used for its general objectives and purposes.”
