A major grant was given to start-up “Bobcat Cleaners”, a dry cleaning business that will be run by students in the Life Skills Program at Brookfield High School. This endeavor into a real-life business situation will enable students in the program to practice and improve upon invaluable skills such as money management and transactions, social interaction, and interpersonal communication. Future plans include potential expansion of this business to other high school programs and groups, or to the Whisconier Life Skills program.
