A Sensory Path was established at Huckleberry Hill thanks to a major grant by the BEF. Championed by teacher, Adrianna Hackett, this indoor path enhances student cognitive functioning through physically engaging activities. The colorful stickers used for the path help strengthen motor skills such as balance, hand-eye coordination, spatial awareness and also offer an opportunity for a student centered “brain break”. When using the indoor path, students are able to use their energy to hop, skip, step, and jump their way through the hallway.
