Whisconier Middle School was the recipient of a grant for the Emotion Into Art program.  Emotion into Art is an extremely unique combination of speed painting and an inspirational speaking performance. It is a nationally recognized show with the goal of inspiring students of all ages to not only follow their dreams, but to follow their dreams with passion. The performance entertains and captures the students’ attention while the microphone allows the artist to speak a message of hope and encouragement into their lives. The performance was then incorporated into the Social Studies curriculum by utilizing the historical figures the artist paints, allowing for cross-curricular follow up within the classroom.
